// How did you get your start in the industry?
I have always liked to do nails from a very young age. I would constantly do my mother, sister, friends and neighbors nails whenever I had the chance. I decided to take my course in Lithuania 10 years ago. After that I worked in a salon for a year and then decided to move to the UK. While I was working at a salon in the UK I happen to meet Sophy Robson and that’s what really got me started into the higher clientele that I work with today. While working with Sophy we have done many fashion weeks and other major events.

// Do you have a signature look or style that you are known for?
I am most known for Stiletto nails. I am considered a master because I have been doing this style for 8 years and its my signature look.

// What was one of your biggest career challenges and how did you overcome it?

Truthfully, my biggest challenge was when I decided to move to the United Kingdom. I really didn’t speak any English coming from Lithuania but knew that I had the talent to make it there. In the very beginning, it was very hard to communicate with the client to know what style and look they wanted. Over time I learned English and my clients and I have been coming up with some great looks ever since.

// Must have tool or products for your kit?
I must travel with everything because the pace of this business, you really never know what the client is looking for. One look could be as simple as a nude color or to the complete opposite side of the spectrum.

// Who are the role models who have inspired you?
Right now it’s Tom Bachik. I really like the way he works, the finishes, the unique nail art and his style.

// What's the next big trend you're starting to see sneak in?
Right now a lot of my clients are going with the matte finish look.  London fashion week coming in a few weeks and I will be working along some of the bigger designers and seeing the newest fashion trends and from that I will be able to see what the next trend will be for the year
