// British born model, actress and singer Cara Delevingne has appeared in fashion shows for houses such as Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana and stared in movies such as Paper Towns. She is a makeup artist's dream client with her iconic statement eyebrows.
Cara didn't disappoint with her signature chic and edgy look. Her hair had a deep side part and braid while her makeup was on trend with those amazing brows highlighted with an effortlessly cool mauve lip. We spoke with Cara’s makeup artist Molly R. Stern after she made her up for a recent event in LA.
Getting Cara ready for the MTV movie awards was as always a joyful blast. The girl knows how to have fun, and encourage immense creativity.
Wearing an incredibly tailored suit by Balmain I wanted her skin to reign, her eyes to pop while rocking a modern lip that separated her from the rest.
To begin I prepped her skin with the amazing INTENSITÈ MOISTURE SERUM EXTREME by RéVive and then massaged INTENSITÈ CRÈME LUSTRE DAY cream by RéVive
Next I sparingly applied LAURA MERCIER foundation CANDLEGLOW SOFT LUMINOUS FOUNDATION.
I warmed up her cheeks using cream blush in PRALINE by LAURA MERCIER and then add some bronze glow using FACE ILLUMINATOR VISAGE in SEDUCTION by LAURA MERCIER.
For her eyes I painted LAURA MERICER EYE BASICS in PEACH all over the lid and then added a spot of dew using Jillian Dempsey Lilac Lid Tint.
Next I very tightly lined her upper and lower lash line using a shiny black liquid liner in caviar by TRUE Isaac Mizrahi and softly smudged that using LAURA MERCIER MATTE EYE COLOR in one of my kit staples DEEP NIGHT.
For her iconic Brows I painted in a light blonde brow gel for hold and dimension.
Next I curled her lashes and applied 2 coats of RIMMEL Lash Accelerator Mascara in blackest black.
For her lip I painted on ANASTASIA liquid lipstick in Stripped.
Before she left I dusted some LAURA MERCIER SMOOTH FINISH FOUNDATION POWDER to set the look for her night ahead.
She left looking stunning.
