// Carla Zampatti showcased her Resort 16/17 collection as one of the first shows of the year which featured elegant and classically chic pieces in her Woollahra home. The show closed with good friend of the designer Delta Goodrem in one of Carla’s signature pieces.
Hair Director, Garreth Lenagh of Prema, collaborated with Zampatti using KMS California to create a look known as ‘the lazy wave’ - a reflection of the collection’s laid back mood.
"We focused on showing consistency of shape and texture with the hair appealing to the shapes of the clothes while still remaining true to the individual models hair type and appearance in order to impart a sense of individuality.” We developed an overall signature style where hair was either fully or partially tucked behind the ears as the defining feature, before working with different hair lengths and textures to build soft, loose waves.”
HOW TO GET THE LOOK:
Prep the hair with Add Volume Body Build Detangler ,Add Volume Volumizing spray & Tame Frizz Smoothing Lotion through the ends.
Section away the top/fringe, then starting at the nape and with a medium ceramic brush blowdry the hair away from the face at the roots and create movement and bounce through the ends.
Continue through the head adding volume at the roots and blow drying away from the face.
Work with the girls natural partings and fringes. Take a medium sized tong, with large sections use the tong to create bend and movement throughout the hair. Applying dry wax lightly to each section.
Keep an airy light texture through the ends using Hair Play Playable texture and Hair Play Dry touch up.
Tuck the hair behind the ears leaving out the fringe section and any loose flyaways
