// Its the awards show dubbed the "biggest block party" of the summer, and the stars clearly incorporated that philosophy into their red carpet style at the 2016 iHeartRadio MMVAs. Hailee Steinfeld was among the stunning women who rocked the event and her makeup artist Allan Avendano takes us through the makeup look he created for Hailee.

Hailee wore a stunning Rodarte outfit and that definitely determined her makeup choice for the evening - Smokey and Sexy.

I prepped Hailee with Tom Ford Oil Free Moisturiser.
I evened out her beautiful complexion with Tom Ford Traceless Liquid Foundation in Pale Dune and Tom Ford Concealer.

I dusted her cheeks and shaded the outer edges of her face with Tom Ford Terra Bronzer then highlighted the high points of her face with Tom Ford Illuminating Pen in Citrine.

I prepped Hailee's eyes with Dior Backstage Eye Prime to make sure that smokey eye stays put without creasing or fading.

I used MAC Cosmetics Eyeshadows to create her smokey eyes.

I started by applying Handwritten in the entire eyelid and buffed it out into the crease. Then I took the same colour and smudged it across her lower lash line with a pencil brush. Then I used Folie and packed it on the upper and lower lash line with a small and flat eyeshadow brush. I used the pencil brush to blend this out and soften any hard lines.

I used Carbon on the outer top and bottom corners of the eyes to create shape and shading. I finished with Prunella Eyeliner on the waterline and tight lined the top line.

I plumped up her lashes with 2 coats of Kevyn Aucoin Curling Mascara on Top and 1 coat of Volumizing Mascara on the bottom. I weaved in a few Ardell knot free medium individual lashes to make the lashes more plush.

Hailee has beautiful brows so I just lightly filled in any areas that needed it with Kevyn Aucoin Percision Brow Pencil in Brunette.

I finished off the look with Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Nude lip liner and Hepburn Honey Lipstick.
