// In a world where everyone is now trying to keep up with the Kardashians instead of the Joneses it’s easy to get swept up in the Kardashian phenomenon.

Whether you love them or hate them or love to hate them, their empire continues to expand at an exponential rate. Most recently, Kim Kardashian launched KKW Beauty, the first products to drop were the Crème highlight & contour kits.

The ‘Medium’ kit sold out in minutes, and the rest trickled off over the next hour earning her a cool $14.5 million US (That’s $19.2 million AUD). Prior to that, Kim had collaborated with her youngest sister Kylie Jenner who started Kylie Cosmetics back in 2016 starting with lips kits (a liquid lipstick and a matching lip pencil). Kylie Cosmetics is said to be generating revenue in the seven figure range. Together the two came out with a collection of four liquid lipsticks, as a preview for Kim’s new beauty line. It seems big sister Kim has learned a thing or two from Kylie’s beauty ventures with her launch going much smoother for consumers, than Jenner’s initial lip kit launch.

Everyone seems to want a piece of the Kardashian pie but the question is, are we paying for quality or just the name?

So far, reviews have been mostly positive for KKW Beauty so, we hope to see quality continue to be a priority for Kardashian clan.
